Me, I’m Counting is Nick Williams, who uses samplers and synthesizers to inaccurately portray the feeling of running through a quiet mid-sized city while the world teeters between technological sublimation and environmental collapse. He enjoys the music of The Field, Cluster, Nicolas Jaar, Spiritualized, and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, but he’s not necessarily a good enough musician for any of those “influences” to be evident. He also really fucking loves techno, which might actually come through from time to time. He makes his music without computers because he doesn’t know how to use any of the software, not to make some point about authenticity. He loves his family, jogging, wine, and well-synced delay.
